Day after returning home after one year in Iraq, we had a small ceremony of safe returns of many of soldiers and officially we were back to the families. I went home to empty house with no furniture, no light bulbs, and no water, and no electricity, house empty of everything. Wife gave birth to her daughter whom she had with another soldier who were back in the States Side while I was in Iraq and filed divorce papers and took off with everything imaginable in the house. I had a locksmith open the house door from the backyard, and made me a new set of keys and locks installed on all the doors. I had to buy a washer and dryer. I bought some appliances like rice cooker and refrigerator. And, I went to utilities and turned on the water and electricity following week.
